Our first escape room as our team of 2. Good fun and very colourful. Start in seperate rooms which was interesting for our first game together. Friendly host and good price.

There was ALOT to do for a team of 2 and there was alot of padlock like around 20-25 padlocks. The theming is really good and most of the puzzle are physical (we suck at physical puzzle)  but there was alot carnival games so that was really fun. I do recommend to bring at least 4 players and you need to split up as it's mainly non linear. Overall a very solid room

Due to time constraints we could only play two of the three games available at Escape Hub, so in addition to their most recent one I picked The Laughing Lair, a game which has you imprisoned by a supervillain who goes unnamed but bears more than a passing resemblance to The Joker. The version I played is the game's second incarnation, following a revamp in 2018 - as far as I can tell, it re-uses some elements from the original version but is substantially new content.

Clown-phobics needn't fear...

This wasn’t a bad room, and we actually had a fun time (especially with the ending). But with a few too many padlocks and a little too much wear-and-tear we feel like this room may be slightly past its prime.
Overall, a hugely enjoyable room and every moment of your experience sticks to the funfair theme. Players can expect a combination of fast-paced puzzles, logic riddles, and physical challenges, all mixed together to form this masterpiece of a room! Fans of padlocks will also be pleasantly surprised in this experience, as there was quite a few to be grappled with.
Loved the theming of this room, it had a good strong start an exciting middle and great end! A lot of thought had been put into the furniture and flow of the game.
The room is hugely enjoyable and every game sticks strictly to the funfair theme, A combination of face paced puzzles, riddles and physical challenges form to make a masterpiece of a room.

Imagine The Joker and The Riddler get together and set a trap for Batman, this is basically it, the theme is done extremely well, the puzzles are not all what you would expect from an escape room, and yet they are great fun. This was the first room of 3 that we did in Escape Hub, and quite simply, this game made me very happy. I honestly believe everyone needs to give this room a go.

Can you escape the laughing lair 😈
