immersivegreat hosting

Had some great puzzles and challenges but felt it was quite linear for a group of 5. At times some of our group were stood feeling like a bit of a spare part with nothing to do. Set was great, very in keeping with the theme and our games master Tanya was fantastic, friendly with a great sense of humour.

Had a little technical issue due to a touch screen aspect of the room where one of our team had pressed something unknowingly that switched off the in game screen, but our games master dealt with it quickly and well and still remained good humoured despite the mishap.

family friendlyit works

I find a major differentiator for good and bad games is whether it works. This one works! We had zero complaints. It actually worked!

There was a mix of puzzles at various skill levels, a variety of practical puzzles and padlocks and some surprises along the way!

It managed to remain linear, while not being boring for a larger team and each puzzle was story driven, so very creatively done.

Our host was lovely and entertaining, and allowed us to dictate the number of clues and when (we had 2).

Overall, one of the better games in Birmingham.

First thing we really liked about this room was the clue system. It was all done on a large screen, with a sound playing whenever something was displayed. I much prefer this, as it's sometimes hard to hear the clues if it's a walkie talkie/PA system.

Our host was lovely, although due to her giving the clues via the screen, we had very little interaction with her.

The theming of this room was spot on - it's definitely a lab! The props and puzzles were lab themed, some more difficult than others.

Some of the puzzles in this room were completely new to us, which is always fun.

Good theme, fun puzzles, you even get to wear a lab coat! πŸ˜‚
