It is the year 2086 and you are 4 months into your time aboard the scientific research laboratory Astro262. Everything seems to be running smoothly in the attempt to find a new settlement for the human race to colonise, until, without warning you receive an unwelcome transmission from a nearby defence satellite. Aliens from a nearby planet have heard about your research and in an angry retaliation, they have built a missile in order to destroy all of planet earth, with their one priority in mind – to make the human race extinct. It is now your job to ensure you disarm the missile before it’s too late and the aliens triumph in destroying all of planet earth. Good luck scientists, the fate of the entire human race depends on you.

This room is fun but we had a few maintenance issues. I still recommend to do this room if you're good with technology.

Really liked the teamwork element to this room. Not my favourite at Escape Kent but still very good.

Second room we had completed and first together as our usual team. The room theming itself is fairly basic, feels more like a classroom than an alien spaceship. But the puzzles are interesting and varied with few padlocks and some use of technology although some seem about random when you consider the theme of the room. We found this room really easy and were surprised to find that we had completed it when we did the last puzzle as it had taken us so little time. Staff were friendly and helpful as they usual at Escape Kent.

Escape Kent are an independent operator on the outskirts of Canterbury, with two rooms so far plus a third in the works. We managed to find a slot for only one room, defending the earth from an alien missile. The backstory has you teleported aboard the alien vessel with orders to disable the missile and prevent it destroying Earth.

For an alien space station, the room looks quite a lot like generic industrial office space. They've clearly worked hard with the resources available, so that feels ...
