Let's start by my main comment about the room: the first room puzzle is simply THE BEST. It includes your own team, includes the whole room and is visually gorgeous! It was a close call for me between 4 and 5 stars on this one, as it's one of the most beautiful room and theme I've ever experienced but the room might seem a bit easy and you might exit the room after 30-40 minutes only. I have to be honest, I was expecting lower quality rooms than Skurrilum just by looking at some reviews on TripAdvisor, those are nonsense, Hidden in Hamburg are amazing rooms with very clever puzzles in quantity.

Time Master is very much unique and even though it might seem quite easy and quick to escape, there is quite a fair amount of rooms. Due to the easy difficulty, this room seem like it would be perfect for two or three players. Hidden in Hamburg doesn't need much space to do a room, they make the space. They are also currently improving the room, as when we played (March 2019) you have a side quest to collect golden bars on top of fixing the time. Those golden bars currently seem out of theme and plastic-y but once they are working on changing them to hour glasses, it will fit perfectly in theme and add to the immersion.

So to sum up, not a hard room but very interesting puzzles to solve in a gorgeous atmosphere leading to a rewarding finale. Absolutely great!

Fantastic start, impeccably hosted, high quality set design from HIH as seems to be their trademark. A little easier than their other offerings but no less enjoyable.

Well themed. The story progressed with the game. It all flowed well. There were a few delays in the game when we finished a puzzle - not sure if thats because the game was automated or reliant on the GM pushing buttons a little too late.  Great puzzles and room!

A review of the three Hidden in Hamburg games aboard the Captain San Diego. These are some of the best escape rooms I’ve played with amazing sets, great puzzles and a great sense of exploration.
Hidden generally offers really beautifully implemented rooms, as you could already read in our other reviews. Master of Time on the Cap San Diego is no exception. The room is atmospherically staged and you like to lose yourself in this world. This room is especially perfect for families or even inexperienced players, who will experience a really great first room.
