The introduction did tell us that we would need to enter pairs of words, but we had no idea what that meant. What it actually means is if a word appears in the game then you can do something with it, almost like casting a spell, but you need the right combination of words, like a point and click adventure. If that sounds, fun I didn't mean it to as it was frustrating. There was also a lot of pixel hunting, and not great feedback on whether what you'd done was correct or not.

I didn't hate it, but it was certainly fiddly.

What a beautiful room! Shame we only played it online.

The beauty and interesting effects that must have been impressive in real life did not completely make up for the tedious puzzles. We did like the "finding stuff" part of the room, but the translation and the ordering puzzles were boring because they had so many parts. Also one of them missed feedback if you got it right or not. A few puzzles we guessed the answer, but that is not satisfying. The riddle part (guess a word from these sentences) was painful for us as we hate riddles - might be nice for others.

Our frustrations was also in part connected to the digitalization of this room. That the inventory was a box and not a panel on the side of the screen and the navigation that was difficult. We did like that we could see what each other was looking at with the cursor being visible. While this escape room did not use the text input field too much, it is also a souce of annoyance - a non-elegant solution to combining stuff.

Loved the theme and the decor, but the execution let this room down. We were entertained, but constantly reminded of the difficulties in doing this online.
