It’s 1931 and gangsters rule Chicago. The Volstead Act prohibiting the manufacture, transportation, and sale of alcohol is still in force.

Rum-runners and bootleggers have mostly kept the city supplied with sub-standard gut-rot gin and bathtub bourbon. Now a large shipment of top-quality Mississippi Moonshine has set off a turf war, with Capone coming out on top, as expected. But before the boss even got a sniff, the booze vanished from his dockland warehouse. He never expected someone would have the cajones to steal it from under his nose.

Capone didn’t want his reputation tarnished, so a few of his goons were sent to rattle some cages, but after a week, no little birdies were singing. That’s when he called on his ‘old pal’ private investigator Mick Macy.
It wasn’t much of a choice - find the moonshine or find yourself a ‘permanent pillar’ of the community.

At the 11th hour, Macy has vanished, the boss is on his way and the moonshine is still missing!
It's up to you now! Can you crack the case and escape the mob?

great hosting
I really enjoyed this game, it has some really good and interesting puzzles, there was a lot to do, and the games master was brilliant. Highly recommend it, alongside Piggy Blinders.

Fabulous hosts, enthusiastic about their games and the industry. Their love of the games is obvious in the quality of the rooms and the lobby areas. Interesting puzzles with some clever designs. Very heavy on the story telling which links nicely with their second room too. Highly recommend

It’s your classic 1930s noir, prohibition-esque experience, and the room was themed perfectly for it. An old wooden desk, a vintage typewriter and empty bottles with XXX scribbled on the side. Anything that puts me in the shoes of being a detective is a big thumbs up from me, and in this respect Mystery and Moonshine did not disappoint.
