We’ve recently discovered a room that has not been used or altered since 1934. It appears to have been the old office of the building’s architect, HP. Berlage.
Long has it been rumoured that Mr. Berlage was a member of the most secretive Society of the Crossed Keys, a group of luminaries that guarded the world’s most powerful secrets, until the year Berlage died in 1934.
No one has seen or heard of the Society or their secrets ever since. We now suspect that the last remaining trace of the Society may be hidden inside this newly discovered room, and this is where we call upon your most immediate help.

Quite a historical building, but the game didn't quite live up to the promise. Badly designed and worn sound puzzles and one puzzle where you couldn't solve something if you moved a thing that was natural to move. We had to take a hint on that one. We got lucky on the puzzle that required outside knowledge of smells.

We did not have a good time, but can see how others could if they clicked more with the puzzles and did not move what should not be moved. The room was absolutely beautiful and felt very historical, because of the building it was in. Also the location was convenient near the Amsterdam Centraal.  We also played their other room The Vault and while that was a bit worn, it was a nice and beautiful room.

The more puzzle heavy of the two experiences from Sherlocked. All extremely well crafted and had some great moments even for such an old game. Great ending too!

The space here is really large and unique but feels somewhat empty and under-utilised. Some puzzles were really clever, but a lot revolved around following instructions and searching for things. Basically spent a lot of the game feeling somewhat lost and like I wasn't doing much. There was a nice finale to the game and section that involved some good communication, although when we exited the game and had to wait a while before the GM arrived. The GM herself was lovely and very chatty. It's a good game with a lovely set, but you'd probably enjoy it more with fewer players as there didn't feel like there were many puzzles

This is a room for those who love puzzles and who appreciate beautifully put-together escape rooms. There are some gorgeous puzzles in here with some fantastic twists and turns that really push your communication skills! The ending is superb and the game really makes the most of the history of the building; we absolutely loved it.

A stunning room, utilising the original room and decor, it's highly probable that the game was designed around the room rather than a room designed for a game and this effortlessly immerses you in to the story of a discovered hidden room. The puzzles are strong and clever with an intelligent and unexpected separation. Your logical and musical brain will be put to the test here. A must escape in Amsterdam

I escaped The Architect room in November 2016 with 5 colleagues. It was my very first room in the Netherlands and I was really impressed. At that time, I only had a few rooms on my escape list, so playing this room seemed so unreal and open up a brand new idea of what an escape game could be. The puzzles are really clever and the atmosphere is really present, I put 5 stars as the overall experience is incredible. I believe there was at least 2 big surprises during the game and an incredible ending. One card puzzle though was a bit of a let down so that's why I hesitated to give it a 4 instead of a 5, but The Architect is still one of the rooms I think about when someone asks me which escape room was my favourite ever. The staff was absolutely great too with a real immersive introduction.

The best escape rooms in Amsterdam and two of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. They might be light on puzzles and occasionally have frustrating moments but the overall experiences were phenomenal.
Sherlocked in Amsterdam has one of the best rated Escape Rooms in Europe with their game “The Vault”. But can the room really stand up to all the hype?
