Absolutely incredible from start to finish - real love and craft has been put into this one. Puzzles aplenty so bring a big team and if you beat the record, you might just get a little surprise… Don’t miss this room!

A relatively new game that we spotted on our trip to Barcelona and was intrigued by a “last of us” theme they had set up. It has very similar DNA to Distrito which we loved.

As expected in Barcelona, they start with the immersion right from the off.

They have so many rooms and had some great nostalgic moments for someone who grew up in the 90’s.

Some very clever moments and way of keeping up the tension. The puzzles flowed very well and teamwork is essential. We did this as a two and still had 10 minutes to spare (we like to take our time too!). The end puzzle may be more fun with more people but we still loved it.

Would highly recommend seeking out.

Don’t worry no real scares if that is not your thing.

I'll preface this by saying that earlier in the weekend we'd played 2 really good rooms (at RADA and Escape Plan) so maybe the bar was set quite high by the time we played at Escape London.

The build quality of the room was pretty high; it's quite clear that a good amount of time and energy has been lavished on the construction and dressing of the room. It looked great.

The puzzles, though, I found (similar to the other room at this venue) to be glorified taks lists with instructions either written on the wall or given audibly. Personally I find that the a really good puzzle is one that requires a minimum of explicit instruction; it has enough signposting to get you on the right track and then an intuitive design that helps guide you through the steps to the solve. That's when I feel like I've achieved something and the fun kicks in.

I didn't get that with this room and when the GM asked the predictable "so, what was your favourite puzzle?" question at the end, it was a real struggle to come up with an answer!

beautifulvalue for moneyhi-tech

Really fun room, very atmospheric with great quality build, visual and audio effects. Split start with some really nicely thought out and satisfying puzzles and great use of the space, particularly towards the end. Fab hosting from the team with a back-stage show & tell after we finished.  More, please!

messy

Main path was pretty easy, and slightly vanilla, optional side collection felt a little tacked on and the bonus puzzles somewhat dull. One very lengthy double locked box had largely unrelated puzzles which threw us off a smidge. Not particularly original, too many numbers locks for our taste... nothing really high tech here
