Time has passed since the cataclysm brought about by Project X. The reconstruction is almost complete and the world is fast returning to normal. The dark days of quarantine are over! People have returned to the streets, the parks have reopened, and children are once again back in the playgrounds.
Some scars remain, however. We are the victims of the attendant economic crisis. No-one has any money left for good, honest criminals like us to steal! Do you remember our first mission together? Back then we wanted to get our hands on Simon Dickson’s fortune, but we failed. It’s time to try again, and finally complete the mission. The Operator is waiting for you!

Enjoyable game with some good puzzles but a bit of an abrupt ending.

quite easy

This was a nice game, we enjoyed it.  It is quite easy, although we did find it difficult to locate click-points at times.

An okay point-and-click puzzle-adventure with good synchronization between multiple players (a little slow to handle clicks though) for a fun co-solving experience.

We played this in multi-player mode and it worked really well. A classic point and click adventure with escape room-esque puzzles. Great value for money.

Plays like a cross between an escape room and a point-and-click adventure videogame, yet somehow fails to capture the delight of either. Playing online via a webbrowser means your team all share the same synchronised view of the game and you can see where your teammates are clicking, but there's a delay in the response to every input making the game feels slow and laggy. Combined with the pre-rendered, static graphics leads to the feeling of playing a "Myst"-clone from the 1990s, yet without the charm or innovation.

The puzzle content itself is solid enough, but rather predictable - several "count the objects" puzzles, some ciphers etc. and the story is fine, but not really engaging.

So while the game is perfectly functional - we encountered no game-breaking bugs or mistakes - it simply failed to excite or delight.

For an online escape room, I have high expectations having done over 150 real escape rooms.  This was a great experience, my partner and I loved the game, it had the genuine feel of an escape room and very reasonably priced.  Would highly recommend

One of the earlier online adaptations, this one is somewhat clunky in retrospect.  Playing with two players was difficult - at the time, at least, one person clicking would advance both people.  Probably a much smoother experience with just one person playing.

Overall this game was average, I would recommend no more than 2 people doing it due to the mechanics if one person opened a clue or observed an item, it opened on everyone's screen. Same with inputting information, making it linear in most parts.  I think this game works best when one person sharing it and others play by watching, rather than sending out the codes.  Game length, I felt finished a bit shorter than what I would have liked to. The puzzles were easy to do and not very challenging.

What a wonderful game! Atmospheric, beautiful and fun. It's my favorite of all of the 'online escape rooms' that I've played. Two of us played together from within the same room and found the game just challenging enough to be engaging without being frustrating. I thoroughly recommend it!

Not having (yet) played Crime Runners' physical escape rooms, I don't know the details of the story of which this online game is a continuation. That wasn't a barrier to playing this, though it did make me quite curious to go and discover what the earlier chapters involved.

Back To The Congressman is in theory a heist story, though since this game only covers the first chapters of the story it's more an 'infiltrate a mansion' story. Your game screen shows a picture of your location, and you can...

We very much enjoyed this game and came away with the same type of buzz that we get when we complete a physical escape room. We were truly immersed in the story and were saddened when we reached the end. For now, we’ll just have to wait for the sequel

This digital game was the closest we felt to an onsite escape room so far. The graphics were beautiful with details of tree twigs to cracks on walls. The storytelling and sound system felt like we were watching a mystery movie the entire time. Our most enjoyable moments were the creepy walks in the forest and the creaking sounds of the old stairs in the manor.
