St. Davids Escape Room: St. David’s Escape Room (2021)

St David's Indoor room is a great escape room with numerous innovations and a lovely gentler theme/atmosphere to it (a nice change from the usual high-stakes!). It has adjustable difficulty to allow for various types of player, which we think is a superb approach. It also had a good penalty system to avoid "brute forcing", encouraging you to stop and think before just (metaphorically) pushing all the buttons or trying all the codes. It also incorporated local history and geography which we appreciated - and the room had an organic, hand-made feel that had clearly been designed and built with time and love. The GM was great at giving a subtle nudge when needed and was a fantastic host. It was reasonably challenging but all made good logical sense, and had a good spread of well-designed puzzles and challenges. Overall, a really good experience - if you're in St David's/Pembrokeshire, absolutely well worth a visit (along with the Low Ropes course - very good value for money)
