You’ve located and broken into Sherlock Holmes’ secret Athenian Office, but it’s booby trapped. You have 60 minutes before you are permanently trapped in the “labyrinth of his mind”.
On entering there are two notable features: a big final physical puzzle to solve in order to exit, and the relatively basic decor compared with some of their other rooms.
This room is *very* search heavy; although we were told this and went to great lengths to find hidden items, we still missed a couple.
The puzzles are all very logical (as expected for a Sherlock themed room), with some nice teamwork elements.
There were however various weaker points in this room. The code for a directional lock can be easily misinterpreted; some puzzles aren’t as responsive as they need to be; a specific search puzzle was fairly ambiguous; and we managed to accidentally open one of two padlocks with the other key (although this was apparently a freak occurence).
Overall a fun traditional but not complex room with a satisfying physical final puzzle. Good for beginners.
