Indizio: Mirror Mirror On The Wall

Cologne, Nov 2016

Rated 3 out of 5
Centrally located, just a stone throw from Cologne’s cathedral is Indizio-Koln. We were lucky enough to have the escape room thrown into our air bnb stay, as it was located in the apartment above.
The place itself has an Indiana Jones temple vibe, i… (more)

Xitroom: Crack the Safe

Amsterdam, Aug 2016

Rated between 2 and 3.5 out of 5
The room starts in the dark with a hunt for the lightswitch – which I feel didn’t really add much to the game itself. However, we had that done after a minute or so, and could get stuck into the puzzles.

Exit Room: KGB

Tallinn, Jun 2016

Rated between 3 and 3.5 out of 5
The enthusiastic staff acting for the lead-in to this one was great, and definitely bumps it up a notch; it was also free of the frustrations I encountered in the other rooms from this company. Definitely my favourite of the three.(more)

Exit Room: Dracula

Tallinn, Jun 2016

Rated between 1.5 and 3 out of 5
Dracula was both unusually search-heavy and also relied on semi-darkness, which isn’t a fantastic combination. To make it worse, one of the clues was hidden in a location that we assumed was intended to be off-limits.
It’s easy to blame a room when … (more)
