Many years ago an ancient statue of the Egyptian cat goddess Bastet was stolen from the private collection of Lord Barrington Smyth.
This statue was not only said to be one of his favourite pieces, but was also believed to have great powers, bestowing great fortune upon its owner.
There had been no information regarding the location of the lost statue, until recently Lord Barrington heard rumours that a statue matching Bastet's description is now in the possession of a local Mystic, who lives deep in the National forest.
Lord Barrington needs you to enter the Mystic's Cabin to locate and retrieve the statue, and so return it to its rightful owner!
Do you dare to enter the Mystic's secret domain?

Can you rescue a cat from a witch?  There's a lot to like here, theming is adequate for the environment and some of the puzzles are cleverly done (there's one I should have seen, I really should have seen it!).  There feels like there's a difficulty curve as we raced through the early sections only to get bogged down in the latter stages of the game.  Clue system was delivered by a TV and was great throughout.

Liked this a lot - cool space with lots to do. Ran it alone and was able to get out in good time.

This was brill. Lee, who runs the place, I think designs them himself. His such a nice guy. This is his second room, and the second one we've done. It was great. It's a very spacious room! As Escape Rooms go. It was nice and light. I get irritated in darker rooms. If the challenge is to be able to read something, I feel like I've been cheated. This wasn't like that.

What I love about Lee' s rooms is that you seem to be able to take so many routes. I much prefer that than having 5 or 6 people all looking over each others shoulders, trying to all get a look in and having to do everything one at a time in order. This wasn't like that at all. I really enjoyed it. Can't wait until he opens a third room!

Overall an enjoyable game, that has some really nice puzzles. A great game for newbies looking to play something a little more complex.
