magicalvery easy
Had lots of fun in this room as there was loads to and it was quite easy / the puzzles were quite basic which I didn't mind as I really felt like we were moving ourselves through the game and the sense of achievement when you know you've cracked it. There was nothing challenging or new in terms of how puzzles worked but the 'magic' element was fun and different. There was one padlock already unlocked which was a shame and I felt like I missed out on that puzzle / clue but there was so much to do that at least it didn't make much difference. Overall really enjoyable, lovely hosts, just nothing to get too excited about for those who have done a few rooms.
Great set and lovely GM but unfortunately for us, the game didn't seem to flow well and had a couple of illogical moments in our opinion! We spent far too long on a puzzle that was no longer in play (removed from the game prior) which caused us a lot of frustration - decommissioned puzzles should be removed from rooms completely.

beautifulcleverfamily friendly
A gorgeous game. Superb design with original, creative ideas seems to be a real hallmark of this family-run company. Whenever an escape room door opens onto a little street with shop windows, my heart skips a beat so this clever, beautiful game really appealed to us! It's certainly more tricky than Matter of the Hatter, with plenty to do and lots of inventive puzzles, and we were really quite sad when it was over. There's something really special about a room that is crafted with love by people who love escape rooms; everything here is bespoke and that care really comes across in here.
