I can't say too much about this room because I'd be scared to spoil it.

The woman that designed this room is a genius. 

The setting and props are fantastic and every puzzle is carefully thought out. 

Scary but not enough to stop my focus... Almost 😂

We are always cautious with rooms by this company. However, we have to say it wasn't bad at all.

The room flowed well and the puzzles made sense. Can't complain! 

The props and set were worn and broken.

Clues by the host were vague and not in a mysterious way. 

It felt like you had to make a lot of assumptions for things to work. 

The host asked for feedback and we told her that the room was really worn and needed updating. She literally could not care for this and ushered us out. 

Our four year old's first escape room! 

Welcoming hosts who were watchful and helpful as we played. 

The game had one main aim initially and added extra "levels" for those who were early finishers. 

I love walking into a room where you know you're going to be busy! Plenty to do and child friendly for our little girl. 

Don't be fooled though - not all the puzzles are easy!! 

Had a great time and would love to return to complete more rooms 

I loved stepping in to the story-the moment we walked in!! 

A simple looking room with so much potential and puzzles packed in!

Host was lovely and welcoming. Great with hints too-making sure we didn't waste too much time on the wrong part. 

The music was great to add to the pacing of the room. 

As a two, we had plenty to do and loved the story line. 

Reminded me of Severance!!

It's heartening to read other reviews who had the same experience as we did with this room.

The main reception needs better sign posting (It's somewhat new but a sign in the window wouldn't go a miss!) 

Hosting was ok, seemed to spend a long time explain the one lock we shouldn't be opening. 

The setting is an interesting one but considering it's called Dinosaur Deadlock, I expected some more dinosaurs about?! 

We were told it was a non-linear game so should split up to solve things. This wasn't the case and we found some parts of the setting more in the way than useful. 

I can't imagine doing this room as a group because you'd definitely be tripping up on each other and getting more annoyed. 

The set needs a bit of an update and clean - I agree that some puzzles and other props didn't seem OK. 

We left feeling underwhelmed as there were very few puzzles and the ending fell flat for us unfortunately. 

The hosting, game and set design are utterly outstanding. So many Easter eggs 😍

I loved that we got to use the full amount of time available too.

"Would you like me to be nice, sarcastic or horrible?" The perfect start to our game!

We had the BEST host and he made us jump, scream and laugh, sometimes all at once.

The puzzles were smart and well thought out.

Once again, brilliant puzzles and detailed set. One of my favourite rooms because of the theme

It was the smaller details that really completed this room. Absolutely brilliant design and story 

I loved the premise of this game and it started off in a different way which make it even more exciting.

I can imagine it would be a challenge for a bigger group.

We loved the theming and design of this room.

However we were let down by unreliable tech which had no fail safe or emergency back up. We were simple told to "try it again"  Understandably this can be frustrating when you are being timed AND you are deducted time for asking for clues.

We didn't escape.

A good room to start you in your escape room journey.

My husband and I were left hugely disappointed by this room. The first time I've ever considered just walking out.

We wasted so much time waiting for clues and we even broke the final main prop/puzzle.

I emailed them to share my disappointment but I was told it was all down to a "miscommunication"

The last time we'd ever go there to be honest.

Some nice elements to the room, we managed to solve a puzzle whilst missing a key part 

I love when a company make full use of the space they have! This is a perfect example of how your rooms do not need to be huge to really challenge your players.

The mission is clear and I always prefer a collecting type game, it always keeps focused!

The room was themed beautifully and the props/set was of good quality.

There was some really imaginative puzzles which require team work and patience!

Our host was fairly new to the company but made an effort to ask about our hobby and was just lovely.

As a side note, there was a Geek Retreat a few doors down so we had a warm up game of Exploding Kittens before saving our Space ship 🌟

A challenging room for two people, puzzle ideas were good and at times frustrating. The clue system was through a screen but the hosts were able to personalise the clues too-even quoting me when I was missing a huge clue 🤣

We got stuck on a certain puzzle for quite a while which slowed down the flow of the game overall.

Some of the props shown signs of wear and tear and I think one clue/prop in particular could be improved somewhat.

The hosts were lovely and keen for feedback which I think is always a good sign.

Even though we were both a bit tired by the end, we definitely want to come back to complete SPUG
