It was good fun. We found the puzzles lacking in complexity and in no particular rush we finished in quick time. The puzzles didnโ€™t benefit from two players so spent time solving things alone. Would have been sub 25 minutes with our normal team of 4.

Theming is good. The puzzles very well signposted. Creative use of space and puzzles were fairly original.  Would recommend to someone wanting to have an easier game.

I'm not usually one for space themed experiences, it's just not usually my cup of tea but I'd heard great things about this game so thought I'd go along to play it.

Ended up really enjoying it! There was so much for two players to achieve here and a clear goal and objective to work towards. You are trying to repair the spaceship and everything you do contributes to that end which I loved. I hate playing games where the whole point is lost in the puzzles.

The hosting was brilliant with the Game Masters getting really involved with their story telling and banter. It was a great evening.

I cannot emphasise just how fun this room is - Iโ€™ve been waiting to play it for ages since I found out Escape Reality had let their own staff design two rooms, and it lives up to every hope for what that could mean for a room. Funny, inventive, immersive and just joyful to play.

This is the second room at Escape Reality Glasgow which has been entirely designed and built by the team at the site. They've taken what they learned building the conspiracy room (which is a much better play than most of the official Escape Reality rooms at Glasgow) and they've made a really fun family room with Star Crew.

Its not a challenging room for enthusiasts, but the gameplay flows really well and theres a nice variety of puzzles in there. The game opens up to allow players to work on several puzzles at once. What is most impressive is that the room is mostly made from recycled materials, their innovation to make puzzles and props is very creative.  Its a fun room and well worth a play.

I really am impressed with Escape Reality and this room has immediately gone on my roster of โ€œrooms to recommend to people when they travel to Scotlandโ€. Itโ€™s an especially good one to take folks who have never played an escape room before, because it perfectly encapsulates what makes escape rooms so damn good. The immersive sets, the non-linear collaborative nature, the roleplay. For our particular team it was a little easy, and we felt like we finished about 30 minutes earlier than we would have wanted to do. As such, if an enthusiast did want to play, itโ€™s maybe better to book as 2 or 3 maximum. But that aside, if you find yourself travelling out to Glasgow, put Star Crew on your list.
