family friendly
The start of this room was great fun and a lovely surprise! Visually the theming in here was good and it would be a fantastic room for young enthusiasts and families. But ultimately it was just a typical UK chain room.
Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit too much of a "puzzle dump". I've seen the non-linear style done very well before, but here it was just a bit to chaotic. The majority of puzzles were all available from the start, scattered around the room (including optional puzzles), so everyone split up and it didn't really feel like a team game because everyone was doing their own thing. Because of this, there was no flow to the room and it lost a lot of immersion.
According to the website you can have up to 8 people in this room, but we were treading on each other's toes with a group of 5. The starting area especially would be like sardines with more people, although you're not in there for long, it would be very tight.
We also lost a lot of time due to poor set-up. As we eventually worked out that the padlocks had been put on the wrong boxes so if a code isn't working, try it on other matching locks in the room. I think some puzzles also need a slight re-think as things like riddles can have multiple solutions.
Overall, it's a good room for families and beginners but as an enthusiast I wanted more from it.

A good room, with some theming elements id not seen. As seems normal with Darkmaster, the technology is really plentiful, well done and worked perfectly. Some really good special effects. The only thing I would say is the ending is a bit surprising in a way id not class as good, we did wonder for a second if there was some technical problem right at the end.
Well worth doing.

A great day out. I was skeptical about how immersed I would actually feel when there is so many other people about. But the way they have organised it has really pulled it off!I cannot wait to come back.

I wish there was a little more sign posting, but the actual room was good! Clever ways of solving puzzles, interesting ways of moving around the room, the ending started to fizzle for me a little bit, but we had just played vikings which left us all awestruck!

An escape room without codes, and almost without keys - what a welcome breath of fresh air. High production values and the creative puzzles we've come to expect from Escape Rooms Suffolk. Amazing.Plenty to keep four keen adults entertained whilst you're there, and plenty to discuss on the journey home!
Well worth a journey to go to. And whilst you're there you should also do The Jungle - equally brilliant. These really are the gold standard.

Hm. Not quite sure how to rate this one - found it quite frustrating in some parts, but often it was because we just hadn’t remembered some rules we’d been given which weren’t entirely intuitive. I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if I’d played more by this brand first, which seems to have some very interesting concepts, and I enjoy its exploring/building a lot, and the app is good. Hoping to play more by this brand to test this theory!
