This is a very unique room, so full of puzzles that you aren’t meant to finish it, instead the goal is to get as many correct as possible in order to eliminate possible answers for the final question. My favourite thing about this room is that each puzzle answer is the name of a tube station which allows for some creative and fun puzzles.

Found this room to be more difficult than the others as a pair due to its size and the number of tasks to accomplish. The room itself is beautifully decorated with some very clever touches that add to the immersion and feel of entering the mind of Charles Dodgson AKA Lewis Caroll. Some creative puzzles as ever and a very cleverly inserted and unobtrusive clue system.

A very densely packed space with a good number of puzzles and additional challenge beyond simply solving the puzzles presented. Very manageable as a 2 and there is plenty of opportunity to split up and work independently, a fun variety of puzzles, all of which fit very well with the theme

Wonderfully immersive design, unique and cleaver puzzles, it really feels like you’ve been transported back in time. Hosts are very friendly and energetic and the clue system is as in theme as possible given the setting.

quite easy

This room is notably on the easier end of the spectrum and felt quite linear throughout our run which is not necessarily an issue but with a larger team it certainly does mean there are times where a player or two have little to do.

A lot of puzzles make good use of things one might find in a child’s bedroom, although a fruit bowl maybe isn’t one of them.

There are no outright “scary” things in the room but true arachnophobes may want to avoid being the first to open anything

As others have mentioned the decoration is a bit lacking, and a few props do seem a little cheap. Some nice wallpaper would go a long way to making the room feel more immersive. A good variety of different types of puzzles, I like riddles personally but I’m not a huge fan of them as puzzles in their own right as they can be difficult to clue without giving away the answer and can hamstring certain players for many reasons: dyslexia, English not their first language etc.

The ending of having to guess who the murderer is is a fun idea but could do with some more concrete clueing to help players feel more confident in their guess, and 3 attempts seems a bit generous personally.

As a new venue the staff seemed to take advice well and listened to suggestions given, particularly one where something needs to be in a certain order but is easily moved and then there is no way to know how it was before.

Overall, I did enjoy this room but it could do with simple improvements that would go a long way

This room is brilliantly themed, with creative use of space. Includes some unique puzzles, with the opportunity to dress up as explorers which was good fun even if I did bump my explorers’ hat into the walls a few times :) . The average team may struggle to finish in time without help but that shouldn’t stop anyone from experiencing this great room!
