A very cool room with some really original puzzles!Especially liked doing actual chemistry to get parts for puzzles! We found the middle part a bit repetitive, but depsite repetitive nature of one puzzle it did involve thinking in lots of different ways!
The bonus objective (to actually escape the room!) was challenging but we got it with a small nudge in the right direction!Going back to try deep space brig soon!
Also Hovis is a star.

quite difficult

Hit and miss with this room. Some fun puzzles and codes, some a little confusing (thst might have just been us, though!) solved part one but not part two. Did get to meet the fabled Hovis, however!

clever

This was our first game at Lockup and we really enjoyed it. Joe went straight for the chemistry elements. There were some fun puzzles that needed communication, and a bit of testing things out. We got to the β€˜hard mode’ puzzle at the end which was a bonus.

Another great room by the Lockup and it was wonderful to see Hovis the corgi all grown up, what a good boy!

Really decent concept, but I'll knock a point off for the fact that it's just one room. The puzzles were super unique though and the entire second half of the experience was one big project involving multiple puzzles bringing together to solve the big finale.

The owner said they'd recently done a pass on all their rooms to make them a bit snappier and improve immersion and this room had a great finale with some amazing technology.

They also had a "hard mode" bonus objective which we managed to complete which gave us some extra gloating points, this is probably why I rate this room so high, it gave us a great flow of puzzles along with a really difficult challenge to finish on

Highly recommend all The Lockup's rooms, they all feel like crafted projects, this is probably my favourite of theirs

Half a point added for the owner saying "we replaced the directional padlock with an electronic version because those things suck!"

A room that was not to difficult for a team of 2 with a few really unique puzzles I've not seen in other games before and I've played a few now. Yes, there are science experiments involved but don't let this put you off if you're not too into science!

Really original idea that players can do some real experiments in order to solve some of the puzzles. Have not seen that before in any other rooms.

Lovely Hosting from the Owner, who introduced us to his little Corgi. In general, a really friendly atmosphere from the staff.  This escape room is dog friendly.

This room would probably suit a family well as it is not scary and it is very immersive for children. The owner mentioned they had recently designed a special β€œkids mode” for the room.

great hosting

A fun little room with puzzles that weren't too challenging, but did make us stop and think every now and then. There is some actual practical science in this room too which was extremely fun and very different from anywhere else I played.

Interesting start to the game too, which was set up slightly different as it was just two of us, but still worked fine, and then there was a puzzle in the middle of the game involving light that was fun too, and an excellent use of the space and the props.

A bare room with a smallish numbers of puzzles but that was saved by letting you do actual science during the game.
