The Island is the hardest of the first batch of Unlock! games. This is a split team game! -- you will be divided into two groups with limited cooperation. It's a large game, with many segments; we didn't finish in the allotted hour. There are many tricky puzzles (in some cases made trickier by the split team) and the hint system isn't always up to the task.
That all said it's a very involved and challenging ER-at-home game.
In general, Unlock! is less puzzly than games like EXIT, but more about intuiting how to combine objects in a logical way. The penalty system can be a bit off putting. Nothing is destroyed; the game may be given away and used by another team.
