We had a blast doing this room, everything flowed very logically and we enjoyed that there was an optional "extreme" mode for enthusiasts. Set looked fantastic. Owners clearly enthusiasts and had a great chat about ERs in general when we were there - we didn't play their other rooms (which I believe are easier) but would highly recommend checking this one out if you are in the area.
Absolutely brilliant, so much fun. Lots to do, really well themed with plenty of puzzles. The final puzzle is very satisfying, too. Staff here are always really engaging and switched on and love to talk through the whole room play which we really enjoy.
Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this room, it was quite difficult at parts for the 2 of us but nothing we couldn't handle. We did have a slight mishap with an electrical aspect of one of the puzzles which took away from the experience slightly but without that it would have been a perfect experience.
Enjoyed this room apart from some minor points. There is a very obvious time waster puzzle in the first room which could have been the same concept but much shorter without losing the idea. This sapped our momentum a little but we kept going.
Once into the 2nd area, there was a very out of theme puzzle which was just plain badly designed. Lighting was a huge issue and the puzzle was just ridiculously long with players having to restart the entire thing for only the tiniest mistake - another time waster. I actually got to the point of saying I would walk out if we had to re-start yet again. Maybe I'm just not a fan of poorly lit dexterity puzzles!
On exiting, we were told that the puzzle was a placeholder for a broken puzzle so I am very hopeful that it will be replaced very soon or they will at least sort the lighting issues to make the puzzle more enjoyable.

Cabins in escape rooms have a tendency to turn grizzly - the ominous cabin in the woods trope. This one is an exception. It turns out to be a fairly normal minerβs cabin (normal other than being filled with puzzles, I guess); unfortunately, just at the moment you sneak inside, a landslide leaves you trapped with no way out.
Far from creepy, thereβs a homely and quite welcoming feel to the space. It was even pretty well lit, though the torches provided were a welcome help for the dimmer corners....
