Only went as I received a gift voucher from my class, 2 adults ended up frustrated, 2 kids ended up bored as nothing for them to do. Several elements not even used though they appeared as we progressed! Avoid this room and Escape Hunt in general, there are much much better games!

Some really good puzzles but, at times, it really was not logical as to what to do with answers to puzzles. The space was used really well but this room is also very search heavy, which was a little tricky in the dim lighting and a 6 and a 9 year old in tow. We were recommended this room as kid friendly but our 6 year old really did not like the final section of this room.

Lovely room for more inexperienced players and kids except for 1 massive time waster. We took 48 minutes to complete the room with a 6 and 9 year old as part of our 4 players, and 1 monotonous puzzle used up 25 minutes. I have nothing against dexterity puzzles but having to repeat the same thing repeatedly just feels like a waste of time. I can see how the room record is 21 mins!

Played with our 6 and 9 year olds, great story, enough they could get involved in. Nice use of the space and some really original puzzles, that we haven't seen in 75+ rooms.

Played with our 6 and 9 year old kids and was a great room. Lots that they could get involved in (sometimes to the detriment of speed!) But lovely puzzles, as we expect from TimeTrap!

Great room for our 75th, kids' 30th. Done with hubby and our 6 and 9 year olds. Plenty for the kids to do and some really clever puzzles. Brilliant GMing too :)

Great room with some lovely, unique puzzles. 6 and 9 year olds enjoyed it and were able to join in with lots of the puzzles :) 

Awesome room with puzzles that really fit the story. We needed a couple of nudges (always miss something searching!) but puzzles made sense (no red herrings/time wasters) and our 6 and 9 year olds were able to really take part. Amazing GM-ing as usual for Pier Pressure

Standard enough prison break scenario but some pretty unique puzzles along the way. GM was awesome, very in character. We've now played all 3 rooms here so look forward to their new one soon

Quite different to loot the lanes and raver quest, 6 and 9 year olds weren't quite as involved in this one. Decent flow and some very original puzzles. Great hosting as is standard at Pier Pressure 

6 and 9 year old kids loved this!! So much fun and some really original puzzles.any excuse to have a boogie is welcome!! 

original start to the room and nice how involved our GM was. 6 and 9 year olds had plenty to help with and there were some really original puzzles. 

Brilliant room, great hosting. Amazing, fun concept which will allow a replay at a later date too. Kids loved it too (6&9 years old)

Completed with husband, 9 year old and 6 year old. Pretty straightforward with several puzzles being repetitive just to waste time. 6 year old couldn't do too much in here as everything was quite high up. Some nice tech bits.

Really good room, a little dim but GM told us we could use phone light. Had a 6 and an 8 year old with us, which was an asset at the start! GM could have been a bit chatter but overall a great room

Brilliant room with some really original puzzles. 5 and 8 year olds loved it and really got stuck in with there being plenty for them to do. Perfect balance of nudges and leaving us to it too. We will be back to play more rooms next time we are down this way.

An awesome room for room 60 for me and hubby. Very non-linear with lots to do all over the place. The aim is to get as much money in the time as possible rather than escape, but we managed to get it all and escape in the time. Our 5 and 8 year olds loved the puzzles and props and there were some great hands on puzzles for them to tackle too. Great hosting by Lauren who gave a brilliant balance of hints and leaving us to it.

Enjoyed this room apart from some minor points. There is a very obvious time waster puzzle in the first room which could have been the same concept but much shorter without losing the idea. This sapped our momentum a little but we kept going. 

Once into the 2nd area, there was a very out of theme puzzle which was just plain badly designed. Lighting was a huge issue and the puzzle was just ridiculously long with players having to restart the entire thing for only the tiniest mistake - another time waster. I actually got to the point of saying I would walk out if we had to re-start yet again. Maybe I'm just not a fan of poorly lit dexterity puzzles!

On exiting, we were told that the puzzle was a placeholder for a broken puzzle so I am very hopeful that it will be replaced very soon or they will at least sort the lighting issues to make the puzzle more enjoyable.

Great room very slightly let down by a couple of leaps that had to be made with no clues as to why. 

GM was a little nervous but did a great job. Being set in an actual barber shop was great for theme but 2 of the actual barbers walked in on our game part way through! Puzzles were great, made sense some interesting ideas. Room was a but creepy with a couple of jump scares but well done.

Great new room here in Basingstoke. Some really interesting puzzles and new concepts we haven't seen in our 50ish rooms. 5 and 8 year old both found puzzles that they could get stuck into too. GM Tilly was great at giving nudges/clues when needed but let us get on with it the rest of the time. Can't wait for the upcoming Peter Pan room :)

Found this one quite plain when we first walked in but we soon got into the swing. Puzzles weren't linear and we managed to get a little ahead of ourselves at one point and hit a stumbling block. Small prompt got us back on track though. 5 and 8 year olds enjoyed it too and even though they maybe slowed us down a little, we placed in the top 2.6% of teams by time taken so pretty proud of that!!

Great hosting and theming, unique location and very welcome cool down in the hot weather. All puzzles were logical and flowed well though maybe the last couple of rooms could have contained more puzzles? 5 year old was a little creeped out by the ambiance but 8 year old was fine. 

50th room for me and hubby. Some really nice tech and original puzzles which our 8 and 5 year olds were able to get stuck into. We accidentally did a couple of puzzles by trial and improvement but the GM explained what we had missed! 

First game we have played in someone's house! Brilliant set and lovely puzzles that the kids could get stuck into. Money goes to charity too so win-win!

Loved this! Room 8 for our 8&5 year olds and 49 for me and hubby. Lots of great puzzles, not necessarily fitting a Sherlock theme, more steam punk. A couple of really original puzzles and everything ran smoothly. Kids loved the props and watching Daddy doing some hard work 😆.

Room 7 for our 8 & 5 year olds, 48 for me and hubby. Great room, some hi-tech bits I've never seen before and keeping to the theme. Had to ask for 3 clues, 2 of which were that we just hadn't searched drawers properly 😆. HP mad daughter loved it!

Room 6 for our 5 & 8 year olds, room 47 for me and hubby. Nice room, pretty easy even with the kids 'helping'. Some good puzzles, lovely theme.

Great room for our 5 and 8 year olds' fourth room. Pretty easy but some great setting and props and nice puzzles. 

Great room for our 5 and 8 year olds. Fun story, great set and some original puzzles. A little frustration with 1 key not fitting a lock very easily but overall a great game!! 

Great concept, similar to another we have done but this stands out as the first with 'live actors'. Logical, funny story, great balance of when to nudge us compared to leaving us to it. Definitely easier in a small team as there are quite a few points where only 1 person can be actively doing something.

Great first room for our 5 and 7 year olds - quite padlock heavy but good variety of puzzles. 

Tackled as a team of 2, this was a bit more sedate than Ram Raid, which we did just before. The set is beautiful, the story well crafted and the puzzles fit the theme. The puzzles weren't too tricky once you got the idea. GM Matt did well on when to deliver hints, keeping us moving when needed. Nice original end puzzle too :) 

We had read reviews of the room and it didn't disappoint!! Great immersion including theme and soundtrack. With only 2 players, there was a lot to do but, because we could divide and conquer, we managed to get the full £1000000. GM Tom was great, sending hints when needed but still making us do the hard work.
