Sometimes you don't gel with a game and you struggle to make any meaningful progress and you have to take your failure on the chin. This might have been one of those times but it's been a while since we had an escape room experience that was this dispiriting. We started off in a gloomy corridor which I generally find is used to hide a lack of effort in set dressing. Some basic but impressively illogical puzzles followed in a fairly linear fashion. We were also told off for passing into the second part of the room through a huge gap that seemed designed for that purpose. The sort of final straw was spending 20 minutes trying to match the colours of similar shades of a what seeemed to be very old discoloured liquids in bottles to buttons on a keypad as interpreted by 4 colour blind eyes in near darkness. Basically, all puzzles required hints so, with 20 mins to go we simply left as a more unsatisfying experience was difficult to imagine at that point. Having done over 100 escape rooms all around Europe, this was our first that we left before the end and the first that we would rather have not done at all.

Did the room with my spouse. There are a couple of very tricky puzzles that are indeed solvable without a clue but we needed a couple of hints. The puzzles were varied and interesting. The room does require a bit more attention to detail than the typical room. We enjoyed the decor and theme and it's a rather large escape room with multiple spaces.
