My personal favourite of the Print+Cut+Escape series. Quite challenging but doable puzzles and a great continuation of the last trilogy story.

Easily my favorite ClueQuest print-and-play yet. Very creative puzzling, presented through a distinctive and immersive visual aesthetic. 100% a standout in the print-and-play realm.

We’ve enjoyed all of the Print+Cut+Escape games from clueQuest, and Prison of Memories - Part 1 was no exception, with its clever puzzles and high production value. Now, to patiently wait for Part 2...
This game will be quite challenging for beginner. Other than having to associate the clues from the artwork (amazing as always by the way), you'll need to think not only in 2D but sometimes in 3D. Once again there'll be a good amount of cutting involved so you'll have to be a fan of that. ClueQuest did a great job with the story line this time. We really felt like we took a journey in his brain and was fighting get out of the crazy traps that the coma is supposedly creating for us. Teamwork was essential with this game. Since we can't bypass puzzles, we worked together in a linear fashion. If you can gather teammates that are great at visualization, it will definitely help you out in this game. ClueQuest is the fastest company we know when it comes to putting out new games. Speaking of which, check out their Valentine's Day game coming out very soon!
In summary, it’s a real challenge! A fun one, inspired, awesome art, packed with “woah I’ve never seen this puzzle before” moments. I’m excited for Part 2 which I’ll take on with a clear head, not under the influence of a week’s worth of Christmas camembert and wine *burp*.
We have to dive into the mind of Mr Q and help wake him out of his coma in this print at home puzzle game.
Overall, Prison of Memories is a gripping start to the series, filled with tension, surprises and drama which for a play at home paper based escape room, is incredible. The layers required to make this an immersive adventure is all there, from a video based storyline, clever puzzles and an interactive system, every piece of the puzzle is there.
