We played The Sacrifice straight after Woman In Black, which I wouldn’t recommend doing despite the two venues being quite close to each other, because there’s considerable overlap in the style of set and scares: they both have supernatural spirits haunting gothic old-fashioned locations.
The world that The Sacrifice creates is even more large-scale, and we rapidly lost any sense of orientation, plunging through one dark and misty scene after another. You’re exploring the cursed village of Torr...

The setting is realistic and pretty impressive! The gloomy village of Torryborn was built on an area of over 450+ square meters and is explored more and more in the course of the mission. The atmosphere is pretty spooky and as you’d expect, you’re not alone. The characters don’t seem to like strangers snooping around their village and do their best to stop them. You can never feel safe and should avoid encounters with them whenever possible.
