The excursion to the Valley of the Kings is the highlight of your vacation to Egypt. As you crawl through the narrow passageways, you lose the rest of your tour group. You enter a mysterious burial chamber. A massive stone door closes behind you. On the floor lie a dusty notebook and an ancient disk ...
Can you solve the riddles left for you by an earlier pyramid explorer and escape the tomb? This game can be played only one time because you must markup, fold, and tear the game materials to solve the riddles and escape.

Unser erstes "Profi"-Exit-Spiel.

Our first exit game of the highest difficulty level. However, we felt it was not much more difficult than the middle level types, except maybe for one or two puzzles. Due to the non-linearity in comparison to the entry level games, the biggest challange for us was to figure out whether we already have enough information to solve a puzzle or not. Also the connection between the riddle cards (i.e., which card belongs to which puzzle) was not always clear, so that (unfortunately) we had to draw one help card, which is a thing we always try to avoid. Overall not recommended for beginners to this game series, but those who seek more of a challenge will have fun. The story itself is neglectable as usual and does not provide more than the thematic scope for the puzzles.

A bit frustrating but fun, especially if you like the theme.

See the review of Exit's Abandoned Cabin game for more information on the base game mechanism. Pharaoh's Tomb is the third and last (for now) game available in the series, and follows closely the same template as the other two.
The code wheel for this game uses Egyptian hieroglyphics. There is of course a look-up between hieroglyphics and numbers provided early on, so puzzles resolve sometimes to a set of three numbe...
One of the strongest escape rooms in a box that I've played. It isn't a match for a real escape room, but it's a well constructed hour of fun with quality elements and good puzzles. A great way for enthusiasts to bridge the gap between escape rooms

So here is a throwback to the first play at home escape game I ever did! In The Pharaoh’s Tomb you find yourself trapped in a mysterious tomb. You work your way through various rooms, you find treasure, symbols, and clues everywhere. The object of the game is simple – escape!

“The ancient Egyptians and chocolate ice cream were always my greatest passions.” – authentic text inscribed by the questionable Pharaoh Kosmos, perfectly summing up the logic to be found within this burial chamber.
A puzzle-driven experience that provides a decent workout for a puzzle-hungry brain
As the City adventurers are unable to actually visit escape rooms, I am going to add my reviews of Escape Games in a box that can be played at home. Exit: The Pharaoh’s Tomb EXIT Escape Rooms In A Box can only be played once as some of the pieces are destroyed during play, unlike the Deckscape game
.
